WEDDINGS
The wedding took place at St; 'Mark's Church, Wellington, on 28th April of Miss Annie Pull, eldest -daughter of Mr and Mrs. S. A. Pull, Wellington, and Mr. H. 0. Bennett, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. C. J; Bennett; of Lower-Hutt. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a'dress of white satin and pearl trimmings. The veil, which was lent by Mrs. Francis Wood, was fastened by a coronet of pearls. The bridesmaids were Miss Elsie. Pull,, who wore a heliotrope frock with list to match, and Miss Edna Bennett, who wore a, rose piuk frock and grey hat. . Mr.- L. 0. Atkinson was best man and Mr. B. Stokes groomsman. The reception was held at Dustin's.
The wedding .was celebrated with Nuptial Mass at the Catholic Church.' Otaki by-the Rev. Father O'Donnell/of Wellington of Mr. Archie Grigg and Miss Cicely Mabel Poynter. The bride, who was given away by her brother-in-law, Air. lattersall, wore a gown of ivory crepe-de-chene and' shadow lace, caught at tlie waist with a; girdle of silver and blue- tissue with- loops of silver-cord. Her veil was arranged Russia'ristyle.ovcr a-coronet of "pearls'and orange blossoms, a shower bouquet of cream carnations and pale blue delphiniums completing a charming toilette.: The bride was at" tended by Miss -Marjory'.Hoare, of-Wel-lington, as bridesmaid, and three flower girls,. Joyce Tattersall Barbara Smith, and Madge Bramley. the former wearing a-iyock-of. .lavender sa>in/with sleeves-and panels "of radium lace and-a-hat of- black satin trimmed with blight coloured uowers, her bouquet being of pale pink. UJio flower girls' frilled frocks were of lavender orgaudie trimmed with lace and tiny pink-and blue rosebuds. Their pretty "Victorian bonnets were of lavender with ribbon streamers, and they carried posies of. pink and blue Mr Hat. O'Neill, of ..Wellington, was, best man. After, the' ceremony Hrs.:" Tattersall, entertained about. forty guests at the Lyric Theatre. Among the guests were Mrs. Grigg, of Greytown, mother' of the bridegroom, Mrs. Adams', sister of the bridegroom, Mesdames Tattersall, Smith, and Bramley, sisters of the bride, and Misses Hardie, Pender, and M'Parland, .of ..Wellington. The wedding, took place recently at the Baptist Church, Brooklyn, of Miss baidee Keeble, youngest daughter of the late Captain Keeble and Mrs.- Keeble, of Brooklyn, to Mr.. Norman Wallace' Bowe, only son ow Mr. and Mrs Wallace J. Eowe, of "Waikare," Bay's Bay, Wellington. The Rev. W. S. Rollings officiated and Mr. E. George, of Christchurch, presided at the organ. The chnrch was. prettily, decorated, for the' occasion. Ihe bride, who was given away by her brother. Mr. S. E. Keeble,' of Stratford,' wore, a charming frock 'of 'ivfy satin marocain, with a tulle veil and coronet of orange blossomsj and earned a shower bouquet of chrysanthemums, roses, and maidenhair fern. The bridesmaids were Mies Lily Keeble, in a frock and hat of rose satin marocain and georgette, and Miss Olive Eowe, in a frock and hat'of heliotrope satin charmeuse and georgette. They carried shower bouquets' "to tone of chrysanthemums" and maidenhair fern. The bridegroom's present" to the bride was a gold wristlet watch," and to the bridesmaids gold armlet and manicure set. -The best man was Mr. T. L. Blatchford, and the groomsman Mr. W. A. Keeble. The reception was held at Dustin's Tea Booms, where the guests were received by Mi's.. Keeble, who was weaving a handsomely braided" gown of nigger brown gabardine- and a toque to match with Oriental trimmings, and Mrs. Wallace Eowe, mother of the bridegroom, who wore a smart frock of mole charmoiit with touches of. Oriental" lace, and a hat to tone' with mole "and' blue flowers. The bride travelled in a-smart coat frock of navy blue cloth, witn white embroideries, and a small hat of blue panne velvet with a white feather mount.
The marriage of Mr. Lance M'Coskrie son of Mr. and Mrs. John M'Coskrie, of Herne Bay, Auckland, to Miss Kathleen Montague, youngest daughter of Mr. arid Mrs. J. Montague, of Cornwall Park avenue, Epsom,'took place • recently--as the Methodist Church' ■ Epsom, the-'Rev.. G. Bond'officiating: The bride, who was given away-by her" fatfi'er, was dressed m a dainty frock of shell pink charmeuse. trimmed with white'fur, and wore a pearl necklet $nd pink veil handsomely worked in . silver,, and orange blossoms. She earned a: beautiful shower bouquet of pink roses and carnations and white chrysantheisunis, with maidenhair Jerri,' and 'streamers"of. pint tulle and white ribbon. - The bridesmaid, Miss Sibyl Hopkirk, of' Wellington, "was iii pink erepe-de-eliehe, flounced to the waist with pic;qt edge 6f; delphinium blue and-a cap of georgette- en suite.- -Ashower bouquet' of blue delphiniums' and pink rosebuds, with asparagus fer'n'antf pink ribbons,, was carried.- Mr. Eric M'Coskerie was bast man. and Mf~ Ay Peak presided- at the organ.'. Her bou-quet-was of pink autumn blooms.
