SHORTT'S THEATRE.

"Dusk to Dawn," the new attraction at Shortt's Theatre, is meritorious in several respects. One always looks to the Vidors—Florence and King—to do the unusual in a superlative manner. Here they have taken the novel theme of Katherine Hill's,. "The Shuttle Soul," in. which two people share the same vital power of life. Marjorie Latham promises to rescue a certain young man from the clutches of a designing woman if the young man's father will withdraw prosecution of her' brother, wanted for forgery. She is too successful! The young man falls .in love with her and wants to marry her. From then until the amazing climax of this extraordinary story, her troubles are three-fold. But let the film tell the rest of the story, which is startling, dramatic, and beautifully prodnced. The supporting films include "The Whispered Name," starring Ruth Clifford and Kiles Welch.
