SYDNEY, 2nd May., .No applications having been received to fill the vacancies on the Karo'ola, the owners paid oft' the remainder of the crew, and have cancelled tho vessel's departure on Saturday. . .- . In the High Court, Mr. Justice Isaacs granted an order nisi prohibiting officials of the- Seamen's Union from doing anything in the nature of a strike. Th-3 order is returnable in Melbourne on Tues.day week. An affidavit claimed that the award was ultra vires of the Arbitration Act and the Constitution Act, and was not binding on the employers.
