FEILDING STOCK SALE
FEILDING, 2nd May. There was'a yarding of 35C0 sheep "and 350 cattle at to-day's sale. For fat sheep of quality good prices were offered. Fat lambs : An extra choice line fetched 38s, and others 21s to 275. Fat ewes brought 22s Bd, 235,,25s Id, 275, 28s 9d, and 32s 3d. Store sheep and Jambs sold from 16s to 14s; ewe lambs at 17s Id, 18s sd, and 19s; wether, lambs at 15s lOd, 17s, and 18s 9d. Forward ewes brought 17s Id, 17s Bd,. and 21s 4d; ewes running with Southdown rams, 16s 9d to 24s 3d.
Fat cows : These realised £2, £3 18s, £4,- and £5 13s 6d; fat bullocks brought' £7 11s, and other.' bullocks £4 11s 6d. Heifers realised £2 10s, £2 15s, £4 2s 6d, £4 7s 6d, and £s'l2s'6d; cows-in milk, 255, 275," and £2 10s; dairy cows £2 2s 6d, £2 17s 6d, and £3 Ss; vealers, 325; cows in calf, £5; heifers' at drW £6 ss; store cdws,£2 and £2 3s;' weaner steers, £2 7s ; fat heifers, £4 7s'. 6d and £5 10s 6d. .'..-■ ■•.-".
