Appreciation of services 'rendered by the YiJi.C.A: during the-visit of the Srjuadrot) is expressed in a cordial letter received, by the., general secretary from Vice-Admiral Sir Frederick Field, wte writes thanking tb.e V.M.C.A. and the Ladies' Auxiliary for the great trouble
which is being taken to ,*do everything possible for the comfort of the men of the Special Service Squadron during their stay in Wellington.. The Vice-Ad-miral adds: "The great kindness and hospitality which has been extended to us. by the V.M.C.A. at all ports during the present cruise is greatly appreciated, and we are very thankful for all that has been done by the association for the benefit of the men."
