MR. 'MACDONALD'S SPEECH.

PARIS, 30th April. Mr. Mac Donald's speech has given the greatest pleasure. It' is officially stated that no European statesman's words since the Armistice have been inspired by warmer sympathy towards France". '■■ The announcement that M. Pbincar'e cannot leave France until after the elections suggests that he has already received an invitation from Mr. MacDonaid, and will eagerly accept it at the earliest opportunity.
