NAPIER, This DaV. Figures have just been made available showing the quantity of wool sold, the average price per bale, and the total amount realised at the four" Napier sales in the 1923-24 season. The bales sold numbered 93,240, of. a total value of £2,021,257 7s 3d. Details are as follow :— . ■
During,the previous season 79,411 bales were cold, and £1,214,123 lls 7gd was realised, but the average price per bale dropped from £17 4s 7d at the second sale to £13 Gs 6d at the last.
