LOADING FOE HOME.
The Federal Line steamer Piako is to sail from New Plymonth to-day- lor Wanganui roadstead and .Wellington- to continue her Home loading. The vessel is due hero on Monday, and will later proceed to Napier, Gisborne, Whakatane, and Auckland. She will sail finally from Auckland about the 22ndMay for West Coast ports of Great Britain, via Panama. . • . •

The Superintendent of the radio station at Awanui advises:—"Tlie following warning is broadcasted by radio, Apia, at 8 p-m.: A lidrographie obstruction is reported in lat. 44.45 south, west longitude 124,15, large timber, soft long, ami apparently 10ft in diameter, floating partly submerged at 0.55 p.m. on 26th April."
