Also started: Votoist. Won by two lengths. Time, lmin 44sec. An inquiry followed the first race. A. G. Campbell, rider of Red Kriss, was suspended for a month for crossing going out of the straight. Trial of 100 soys; five furlongs. •—Hcmpe, 8.0, 1; Orange Blossom, 8.0, 2; Wanda, 8.0, 3. Scratched: Weeplete, Verinta. Won by half a length. Time, lmin 3 l-ssec. . , Hororata Cup, of 225 soys; one mile and a quarter.—Lucinctte, 7.10, 1: Dame Straitlace, 7.13, 2; Clareina,,7.l2, 3. Scratched: Sunny Loch. Won by half a length.
