The House of Commons, By 245 votes to 112, adopted a supfilementary estimate providing for '£72,000 to cover the cost of first-class railway tickets for members to between their constituencies' and; London. Amendments to shelve., the.project, 'and'alsq to provide only third-class tickets,, "and to exclude members of the Cabinet from the benefit, were defeated.
