Official : The miners' ballot resulted in the rejection of the workers' wage proposals by 338,000 votes to 322,000. No .immediate crisis will follow the result of the miners' ballot. The question of a strike is not involved. The next move will probably be in the direction of setting up of a court of inquiry.
