At Dayton, Ohio, Lieutenant van Vechten, an internationally-known flyer, was killed when his plane went*, into a tail spin, and his motor stalled. Erorn the' same cause Lieutenant Raymond Collins, of Detroit, and Lieutenant Seifert, of Chicago, both considered to be expert pilots, were fatally injured at Mount Clemens, Michigan. - ■ ' LONDON, 9th April., within the last 24 hours Pilot Officer Goldsmith and Air-craftsman Nieholls were killed by an aeroplane crash at Old Sarum, and Pilot Officer Moss met a similar fate at Farnborough.
