Kegarding the funeral fund,~it was resolved that should a surplus be disclosed it should be reviewed at the subsequent 8.M.C.; also, that the amount available, for distribution to districts should be assessed by an actuary, and the assessments should be subject to such allocation for society purposes-as the B.M.C. determines. ; - The following resolution was carried regarding the funeral benefits :-rVThe fund, shall be valued quinquennially, and ■ any surplus which may be disclosed shall be allocated to the policy-holders in such proportion as the board of directors may determine on the advice of a,n actuary." .. • Other remits passed dealt with 'the insurance fund, '.the admission-of-junior members, the valuation of consolidated districts: which show ; a-surplusrof\asseta over liabilities, and various machinery clauses.. r , _ ■ * To-morrow the, delegates will be. taken for a drive through the apple lands. -
