SENATOR BORAH'S OPINION
CONTRIBUTIONS TO PARTY " - - FUNDS.

Senator Borah, speaking in a local church, declared lhat corrupt Government was partly an aftermath of the war; but more immediately it must be ascribed to the system which permits both major political parties to accept large contributions from interests liaving^ business dealings with the Government, for campaign expenditures. Senator Borah added that he believed much good would come from the oil and other revelations, and expressed confidence in the sc %fjlness ,of the : American people and their Government.
