DUNEDIN, This Day.: The Dunedin City Council's estimated expenditure for the year is £144,506, and 4 it is proposed that the following rates and charges be. levied to meet the~current year's requirements: (a) A general rate of 2s in the £ as levied last year; (b) a -water rate of 9d in the £ as levied last year; (c) a hospitar rate of 6d in the £ as levied last year; (d) a sanitary fee of .24s in respect of those premises to which' such service is given in lieu of 22s' as levied last yea?.
