PALMERSTON N., This-Day. During a Rugby "match at Colyton on batnrday a youth named Louis Phillip Allerby received injuries necessitating his admission to hospital here, where he died later. Deceased, whose parents reside at Colyton, towards the close of the game was seen to play the ball "and a little later fell unconscious. Examination disclosed severe internal hemorrhage, due to a blow on the side of the chest. There is no suggestion of rou^h play. . ■ ?

DARGAVTLLE, This Day. A young man named Cecil Bennett son of Mr. G. VV. Bennett, Raupo, when playing in a football match at Ruawai, received a kick on the head, and was rendered unconscious. A doctor was called in, but the young man never recovered consciousness, and died at 7 o'clock in the evening. Deceased was a well-known all-round .athlete and a general favourite.
