(UNITED PKESS, ASSOCIATION.—COPXRIGHI.) (Received' 2nd April, noon.) MELBOURNE, This Day. In the House of Representatives. the debate on Mr. Bruce's Imperial Conference motions has concluded. Mr. Charlton's amendment was defeated by 36 votes to 19. A further amendment that Mr. Bruce's motions be submitted separately was also defeated, and Mr. Bruce's motions wero carried by 36 votes to 19.
