LONDON, 31st March. The Munich correspondent of " The Times " says the Bavarian Government is taking special precautions in view of possible disturbances when tho verdict ir. the Hitler trial is announced on Tuesday. A proclamation- has been issued warning the population that rioting, looting, unlawful assembly, and resistance <j£ the State forces is punishable with death and penal servitude, and forbidding the display of posters with the result of the trial in the streets, cafes, or shop windows. A State Commissioner has been appointed, with special powers, to maintain order.
Reports that Hitler's supporters throughout Bavaria are concenerating in Munich is officially contradicted; but from previous . experience the public places little faith in official denials .Everywhere there is a feeling that things may happen. ■ °
