Chief Detective Kemp described Piti as a well-known hotel thief. Accused was sentenced to three months' imprisonment, on each chiii-'e the sentences to bo concurrent. ° '
Christopher Smith was convicted and discharged ior a second offence of drunkenness at a pitting of the Mount Cook Police Court yesterday. Mr. T. |J. (.oidman was on the Bench.
