THOUSANDS FOR SOUTH AMERICA.

(RIOJTEU'S TELEGRAM.)

(Received 18th. March, 11 a.m.)

COLOGNE, 17th March. Reports state that emigration to South America from West Germany is largely increasing. Thousands have gone to Brazil during the last six months, and seven thousand are at present leaving Baden and Wuertemberg for Paraguay, where the Government has granted each man 25 to 50 acres alongside the railway. The emigrants are taking the necessary agricultural and. domestic equipment and intend to establish a colony exclusively of Badeners and Wuertomberjrers.
