ACCOMMODATION CHANGES.
A number of changes arc taking place
in the location of Government Ueparti ments. The Department of Industries and Com--1 msree, which lias occupied premises at : 156, The Terrace, for some time past, has removed to the sixth floor of the Dominion Fanners' Institute, and the former building has been occupied by the Geological Survey Department, which has been obliged to evacuate from tern, porary premises at 38, The Terrace, on account of demolition operations. The head office of the Registrar-General's Department is being shifted from the Gov- .. eminent Insurance Buildings to the Dominion Farmers' Institute, but the local office will remain on the ground floor of the Government Life Building. The completion of the State Fire Buildin" ■■ has made space available for several Departments, which have occupied somewhat inadequate and inconvenient quarters elsewhere.
