AUCKLAND, This Day.

At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Dental Association, Dr. J. Warren said it was the duty of the association to watch the education of students to see that they are well equipped with the' best methods of preventive reparative dentistry. He,was of the opinion that no_ good purpose could be served by increasing the period from four to five years, as was recently done in Otago. The following officers were elected : President, Mr. Mose; vice-president, Mr. Reyburn; treasurer, Mr. Crump; committee, Messrs. King, Cranwell' Owen, and Nash.
