"The Printer's Devil," Wesley Barry's latest starring vehicle, is tlie chief at, traction on tlie new programme, which commenced at- the- Strand. Theatre this morning. It is the story of the heroic efforts of a lad employed in a country newspaper office to stave off disaster when the mortgage on the plant becomes due, and also to further his employer's love of romance. This is the story of a young girl- whose one ambition, in life is to provide for her father in his old' age.
