The championship and but-ter-fat eompetitien was won by G. Siever!s Lady, amoug: nineteen competitors, with 956 points. S. Bowker won the first award in the purebred cattle class. The Central Development Farm secured all the awards, including championships, in? the Friesian cattle classes.
In the schedule ef classes issued by the Masterten A. and P. Association, three classes have been added for lambs, 'to be judged in the- pens, and then killed at Waingawa, and a prize awarded on this judgment. Classes m sheep have also been included, qpen to those whp have never wen a first prize at any shpw. In grade dairy cattle classes, two new classes have been added; purebreds are net eligible in these classes. Large entries are expected in the children's-pony classes, including the jumping event for small children.. Tlie hunters' jumping cempetitien prize money has been raised by. £15. Entries close 2nd February with the secretary (Mr. R. H.
