THE PORT SYDNEY.

The C. and D. liner Port Sydney left Auckland yesterday for Wellington, where she is expected to.-morrow morning, The vessel has a small quantity of explosives and a large general cargo to unload here. She will later proceed to Port Chalmers to complete discharge.

The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company has received a wireless message from the liner Connthic, en route from London and Southampton, via Panama, stating that the We.ssel should arrive at Wellington on Tuesday next. THE MOERAKI,

The Moeraki, which arrived at Melbourne yesterday morning from Wellington, is to leave there to-morrow morning for Wellington direct. She is expected here on the 6th February, and is to sail the same day for Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff, and Melbourne.

. The liner Westmoreland is to leave-' Wellington to-morrow for' Lyttelton, Dunedin, and New Plymouth, to complete discharge of cargo from Liverpool.

THE KAIKOURA.

The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Kaikoura arrived at Opua yesterday from Tokomaru Bay. The vessel will leave Opua this evening for Auckland, where she is due to-morrow.to tajte aboard the balance of her .cargo. She should sail from Auckland on the sth February for London, via Montevideo. „ ." i

The Kittawa leaves Greymouth this evening for Wellington, where she is expected tomorrow 'evening. The Corinna was to leave Onehunga to-day for Wellington, Dunedin, Oamaru, and Timaru. ■ \ The Kahika leaves New Plymouth to-day and loads here to-morrow for New Plymouth and "Westport. , The- Kaituna, from Southern ports, loads here to-morrow for Auckland direct. The Kuro.w, from "Newcastle, via Blufl, is due at Wellington to-morrow. The Wingatui sails to-morrow, morning for Lyttelton, Dunedin, Oamaru, and Timaru. The Ngakuta sails to-morrow for Westport to load back to Wellington.

THE: ISLAND STEAMER.

The Union Company's steamer Tofua is due at Auckland to-morrow from the Islands. The vessel is to sail on the return trip to Fiji, Tonga, and Samoa on the 6th'-'February.

WORD OF THE INAHA.

Cable advice has been received by Messrs. Dalgety and Co. that ■ tile • South Taranaki Shipping Company's new steamer, Inaha, en route from Montrose, Scotland, Via ports, arrived at Sydney yesterday. The vessel will take in oil fuel at-Sydney, and will then come on to Wolliqgton, where she is expected in about ten 'days' time.

A collection taken up at a concert held on the Maheno' on Monday night, and presided over by the Ear) of Cassilis, realised £13. The money will go to the fund's of the Society for Shipwrecked Relief.
