-Mr. "Pussyfoot" Johnson, on his arrival from South Africa, stated that if he had the power to make Britain "dry" by waving his hand; he would noi wave it. He would ript compel any people to go "dry." It was better that they should rule themselveV, and decide the question ori its merits.

Mr. Johnson predicted that South Africa would be "dry" shortly, and said the new countries showed a greater desire for Prohibition than the old.
