"Did the dead speak?" is the airutzirijr question asked in consequence of ar theory unparalleled in the Annals' of medical 1 jurisprudence 1, .Which experts propound as the result of a double toagedy iii-Edin-burgh ...
1 Frederick Allen, 22 years old,^ shot with a revolver and his | wife. Hearing two shots', the landlady rapped on the door, and Allen opened it, and shouted: "For God's sake, fetch a doctor, or I will bleed- to,.death." He fired a. third shot which lodged in the ceiling- .'. . . '■
Medicos are convinced that the former shot, instantaneously put the brain out of action,-and thai Allen, when he. spoke to the landlady, was already dead.
