GAME FOR A WET CHRISTMAS
Boxing Day often seems rather dull after.'the. excitement -of opening and j giving 'gifts. A game' which generally proves very entertaining is "Christmas Shop," if the day is wet and children have to be at home. A table can be used as the counter, | and' ok this can be set out various presents.' , ' : . ... I The eldest child should take charge of the'shop at first. Another child must leave the room after taking careful stock of all 'f-ha names of the displayed goods, and while she is out of the room a toy is removed' and hidden. When the child is recalled she must again look all over the counter and say which toy. has been sold. If she gueses successfully she may be "shopman."
