The result of the contest for six seats for the North Island on the Dairy Export Control Board is as follows:— Goodfellow (Waikato) ......... 9317 Grounds (Hokianga) ............ 9046 Forsyth (Taranaki) 8535 Motion (Waiuku) 7887 loms (Wairarapa) 7745 Dalrymple (Bulls) 7394 The above six candidates, who were tha "ticket" of the Farmers' Union and Dominion Dairy Council, are elected. Other candidates polled as under:— Pacey (Palmerston), 4155; Cobbe (Feildiug), 3541; MacMillan (Tauranga), 2638; Hine (Taranaki), 2117; Fear (Hamilton); 1544; Gillies (Helensville), 1498; Brown (Taranaki), 1374; Phillips (Rotorua), 1181; Small (Palmerston), 1161; Roberts (Carterton), 829; Hubbard (Palmerston), 805; Teale (Kairanga), 640; Kent (Waikanae), 604,; Mekalick (Taranaki),' 229. ; Total, 72 240; voting papers; 12,040; informal, 365. • . •■■■■. .
