ASHBURTON, This Bay.. Ronald Dalton, a prefect at the'Ashburton Technical School who was journeying by train from his village home' at Hinds, picked up from the carnage floor a fat wallet. . He went twice through the train, inquiring if anybody had lost it. A business man, feeling his pockets, discovered his wallet missing. It contained about £100. Dalton stubbornly declined a reward, but the owner declares be will hear from him at Christmas.
