SCHOOLS' MATCH
WAIRARAPA v. WELLINGTON.
Teams representing the Wellington arid Wairarapa Public Schools are engaged, in a match at; the Basin Reserve to-day. Except for the northerly wind the conditions are fairly good. Wellington batted first and made good use of the splendid wicket, running up a total of 150 before the fall of the last wicket shortly after 12.30 p.m. W. Dustin and W. Dind, two young batsmen of much promise, were the main contributors to Wellington's total, making 36 and 34 respectively. . Details are as follow:— WELLINGTON. At 2.5 p.m. the score was 12 for the loss of four wickets. Moore had bowled four overs, three of which were maidens, and Richardson in four overs (two maidens) had taken four wickets for 3 runs.
