SALE OF WORK
A successful sale of work was held at the Anglican Church at-Pahautanui this week, the proceeds reaching £130. The sale was declared open by Mr. W H Field, M.I 1. The stallholders wei'o:-^ Fancy, Mesdames Barclay and Flighty; plain, Misses Bbulton and Saunders; produce, Mrs. W. Bradey and Miss Pearl Bradey; sweets, Miss Gray and Mrs. George Jones; afternoon tea, Mesdames Pearce and Taylor; bran tubs, Misses Jacobs and Harris; competitions, Mrs. Williamson.
