THIRTEEN TRIALS IN OTAGO
WINIFRED CONSISTENTLY WINS ' SIX RACES. - DUNEDIN, 9th'December. The tenth trial to select a boat to represent Otag6 in the Sanders Cup races was sailed on Saturday in a light, variable wind, which did not provide conditions for a true test. The competing boats were Winifred, June, Heather, and Kia' Ora. Heather early got into a cajm, and this settled her chance Winifred. finished first, with June second. This was easily the 'slowest of the series. Three . more trials will be sailed Uub week. Winifred has won six of the teste, June three, and' Heather one. ■."••■ ' ' ; ', ■
