WELLINGTON HOTELS
MEETING OF LICENSING COMMITTEE. The Licensing Committee held its quarterly meeting to-day, the Chairman, Mr. W. G. Riddell, S.M., presiding. A favourable police report was presented by Sub-Inspector Cummings, and the committee commented on this and hoped that the good conduct of Wellington hotels would continue.
Transfers were granted a s follow:— Central Hotel, F. B. Brougb. to P J Purcell; Prince of Wales Hotel M j" O'Brien to Mary Kavanagh; Dominion Hotel, Robert Cann to Patrick BurnsCaledonian Hotel, L. W. '■ Broughton to Edward Ivory; Princess Hotel P T Pedersen to Kenneth Kennedy j' a' Ross was granted a renewal of his li' cense for the Grand Hotel, and the executors of the Alhambra Hotel were given perimsßion to carry on until the next maetiag of the. committee.
