The opening of the Hickson Mission was marked oy strikng scenes at the Cathedral, where a stream of ambulances and cars conveyed patients from 8 a.m. onwards. After the laying on of hands the patients were earned out just before noon. Huge marquees in tha Cathedral grounds were used for feeding the country patients. Big crowds watched the scene, which was enacted in hot, sunny weather. ■
