RAILWAY WANTED
PRESSURE THROUGH TAX
SYSTEM.
(EXITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.—COPIRIfIBT.)
(Received 22nd November, 9 a.m.)
SYDNEY, This Day. The residents of some of the North Coast districts are chagrined over the action of the Public Works Committee in refusing them a cross-country railway, and threaten a wholesale refusal to pay income tax. They say they are prepared to suffer imprisonment rather than pay, and indignation meetings are being held to-day.
