..TRADES HALL RECOMMENDATION.
• MELBOURNE, 6th November. The Disputes Committee at the Trades Hall recommended the police to continue the fight to the end, and all the resources of the Labour movement would be thrown- behind them for. that purpose. At a late hour to-night the city was quiet. The authorities have the position well in hand.
