The monthly meeting of the Wellington branch of the Navy League was held yesterday afternoon, Captain Chudlev presiding.

A communication received' from the honorary secretary of the Community Club, asking the Navy League to take the role of "Britannia* 1 in af. queen carnival nest March, was referred to the Policy Committee, which is to consider the .matter with a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, and a representative of the Girls Committee The secretary reported that he had tentatively booked the Town Hall h7 tween the 27th April and the 7th May next for Navy League use, in case it was proposed L organise a club for the convenience ot the ,men of the cruiser squadron which was expected at Wei bngton.
