REPATRIATION CASES

COULL AND HODGINS TO GO TO CHRISTCHURCH.

After hearing argument in Chambers at the Supreme Court yesterday afternoon Mr. Justice Reed decided that the charges against Frank Victor Coull and Harry Patnck Hodgins, who are alleged to be concerned in the- recent frauds m the Repatriation Department, .should be heard at Ohristchurch at the February sessions. This decision was made as a result of an application for a change of venue made by the Crown. .. M£ P- S- X- Macassey appeared for the Crown, and Sir John Findlav X C with him Mr. J. S. Hanna. appeared for Coull, and Mr. J. J. M'Grath for Hodgins. The proceedings were taken in Chambers, and the Press were not admitted.
