EVERYBODY'S THEATRE.
A fine - dtfuble feature programme is showing at Everybody's Theatre to-d&y. The first star picture is "Woman, Wake Up," ' features Florence Vidor, Louis Calhern, and Charles Merecutlu After marriage, Anne and Monte Collins discovered they were miles 'apart in understanding, and widely different in their manner of living; but, instead of letting their differences lead to the Divorce Courts, Anne sets about to get rid of.the trouble. How sh e awoke to a realisation that her husband had no right to a corner in tyranny, took matters into her own hands, and exercised the same freedom her husband; thought was his right, makes a deliciously amusing comedy-drama. For Those We Love," arid stars Betty Cornpson and Lon Chancy. Betty Compson is renowned for her personality and charm, and Lon Chancy has earned his right to.be called " the man with a thousand faces," and probably one of the finest character actors oh the screen to-day. A melodramatic story races .along . ftill ,of" incident. ;and adventure, mainly concerning the " town sports" and their irtethods of 'becoming rich quickly.: Popular Ruth', Roland is certainly earning .a right to the title of the girl, with a thousand thrills. The latest episode of ." The Timber Queen " is chock full of thrills, and will be more than ordinary entertainment for those who like this class of picture. Some very fine music has been selected for tho orchestra, anoV adds to the general entertainment.
