The house wfll first be exhibited at next year's BxhilMon at Wenibley Park, the admission, charjes to be devoted to any charitable cause selected by England's Qneen. Designed by Sir Edward Luytens, the homift is on a BCale of one to the- foot. It-;is about eightfeet high and stands in a formal garden. ' Of -the modern renaissance type, the house recalls the many l>eii.utiful houses which have been sketched ior quiet English places by the famoas architect. There are Lilliputian fireplaces, doors, and window frames. A statiixase which leads out pf toe domed hall is'of jade, lapis lazuli, and marble. 'Water runs into the tiny Baths in the balthrooms designed !or the King Doll and! the Queen Doll. '
There are oven pungent K*tle political cartoons hanging- on. the- -malls of the King's bathroom. Electric lights are operated by tiny switches. There are telephones which cotrld he Bjied were fairy mouths-available for-sfen<fihiK across the gossmar wires the news of fairyland. There is a grand, piano seven inches long, and full-length portraits of the. 'King and Queen, of King. Edwai'd andi Qfcieen Alexandra hang on the walk.
In the kitchens are modern -clipboards and dressera, whicli hold reproductions of the famous Queen Anne silverware at Buckingham Palace. The tiny'cotflso pots, fashioned by, a. woman goldsmiiii), are of 3uch dimonsions that a thimble- cmay be placed over them. Crowns-for thtra heads of the royal dolls, all- a-glitter wjih pinpoint jewels, wilT be part of the palace treasure.
