The super-Dreadnought West "Virginia will be commissioned on Ist .December. She is the most modern vessel of the American Navy, and the sixth capital ship electrically driven. The vessel carries eight 16-inch guns, fourteen 5-inch, four 3-inch anti-aircraft, and two underwater 21-inch torpedo tubes. Her displacement is 32,600 tons. The vessel is an oil-burner.
