FIREMEN INJURED BY ELECTRICITY.

' SYDNEY, 27th October. A disastrous fire at Annandale consumed O. K. Elliott> large, heavily-stocked furniture factory, spread across -the street, and destroyed two shops and two cottages, and damaged three others. The electric light services were partially disabled owing to the breaking of ths" wires. The damage amounts to many thousands.

SYDNEY, This Day. During^ the fire a fireman trod on a broken live wire, and burned and severely shocked: A comrade, who went to his assistance was also laid put! Both were thrown clear of the wire, and other firemen rescued them. They ivere not seriously injured.
