AMATEUR ATHLETICS
Well-known athletes are to make their first appearance this season at the evening sports meeting, to be held by the 'Varsity A.A. Club, at Kelburn Park this evening. The entries are large, and some keen contests should be witnessed in the one mile and 100 yards handicaps, there being 18 competitors in ..each. Others events will be javelin throwing, ladies' and boys' races, and a relay race. I>. A: Tracy and Paris will compete, and among; the others runners will be a. reinstated professional from the South.
