BOY BADLY BURNED

WAIHI, This Day. A sequel to the destruction of the Waikino public school-house last Wednesday was frunished yesterday, when a school lad named Stapleton had his feet and legs badly burned. He leapt from the remains of the coal-shed on to seemingly harmless grey aßhes, when his bare feet sank into about a foot of live' coal ashes. A photographer named Davis carried the sufferer on his ' ba«k for rmlqs. Later the boy was admitted to tho.Wathi Hospital.
