CHINESE RAILWAYS

PEKIN, 28th October. Cabinet has appointed General Tang Sai Li as Director-General of the Railway Bureau. The appointment has created a favourable impression in diplomatic circles. It is understood that General Munthe, formerly military attache at London, has been offered the post of co-director.
