A group of men interested in the grain trade obtained a sympathetic hearing from President Coolidge and the Secretary of Agriculture for a plan under which the War Finance Corporation would finance the shipment of 50,----000,000 bushels of wheat to Germany as a means of relieving starvation there, and reducing the glut in the United States wheat market. Decision .however, has been withheld. ' '
