DUNEDIN, 26th October, In the City Police Court to-day, Joseph Thomas Christie was'charged on remand with having, on 29th September,, broken and entered the warehouse of the Otago Farmers' Co-operative Association at Dunedin, and stolen the sum of £98 15s 2d in money and 35s in postal notes. He was fatther charged with having broken and entered the premises of the Otago Farmers" Cooperative Association at Mosgiel on 30th September and stolen therefrom the sum of £26 3s 2d in money, the property of the association, and £20 in money, the property of Rubina Pearson. Mr H N. Bundle was on the Bench. After lengthy evidence had been heard for the police, accused was committed to the Supreme Court for trial.
