FAITH AND PATIENCE.
In one scene of a thrilling melodrama a husband enters an instant after an, admirer of his wife had made his exit by another door.
During- a run of a week in a certain town the manager noticed that one man, obviously from, the country, attended every night. Finally he remarked to' the man that he must enjoy the performance. Tolerably so," replied the playgoer- ' but 6ome night that husband is going to catch the other fellow, and I want to see what happens."
