QUEEN'S THEATRE.
What are "the glimpses of the Moon" moments in life? In Edith Wharton's novel, "The Glimpses of the Moon," picturised for Paramount by , Allan Dwan, which commences at the Queen's Theatre to-day, • they are the moments when love first blossoms to find fulfilment, moments that bind lives safe together against temptation. But there are other glimpses of the moon moments, according to Bebe Daniels, who plays the role of Susan Branch, the heroine of the picture. With Bebe Daniels, Nita Naldi, Rubye de Uemer, David Powell, Charles Gerrard, and Maurice Costello in the cast, and an exceedingly costly investiture, it is one of the most effective and elaborate screen society dramas thus far presented to the public. In the settings of wealth and splendour, made for this picture at heavy expense, Director Dwan has woven a dramatic story of the love of Susan Branch and Dick Lansing, and the troubles they encounter in trying to keep pace with their millionaire friends. The supporting films include the third part of the ten-part chapter play, "The Social Buccaneer," starring Jack Mulhall. which is proving one of the most popular attractions seen at the Queen's for a considerable time. A clever comedy, and the latest Gazettes, together with the usual excellent incidental music by the Queen's Grand Orchestra, complete the programme. The box plan is at The Bristol. .
